I’m Clare…
I’m a chef, food writer and fermenter.
I cook: supper clubs, community events, dinner parties, buffets and gourmet ready meals for the freezer.
I ferment: krauts, kimchi, kombucha, kefir (all the Ks) and more and teach other people how to make these delicious, health-enhancing foods.
I write: journalism and recipes for a variety of publications including BBC Good Food, The i Paper and The Guardian. As well as producing In Good Taste, a weekly recipe and culture newsletter.
I also develop and test recipes and for a variety of clients and provide a consultation service for restaurants and cafes on including fermented foods on their menus.
